Who is responsible
Poros Advisors is the public brand of JLA Business Services, LLC, an Oklahoma limited liability company. This notice covers personal information collected through the Poros website. For privacy questions or requests, email contact@porosadvisors.com with the subject “Privacy request.”
Information you give us
Business inquiries collect your name, email, company and the outcome you want to change. Company is optional for coaching inquiries. You may also provide your role, timing and preferred support. Recommendation forms collect your name, note and any optional title, company and follow-up email. We record submission time, permission choices, the notice version and campaign tags supplied with the page URL. Please do not submit passwords, identification numbers, payment details, health information or confidential client records.
Information used to run the website
Hosting providers process technical information such as IP addresses, browser information, request details and operational or security logs. The application uses a daily pseudonymous digest of a network address to limit repeated form submissions; it does not store the raw address in inquiry records. Private workspace sign-in uses identity information supplied by the hosting platform. Public marketing pages do not require an account.
Why we use information
We use inquiries to respond, understand your needs, evaluate an engagement and maintain relevant business records. Technical information supports website operation, security and abuse prevention. Submitting an inquiry does not subscribe you to a marketing list. Recommendation notes remain private for review unless you separately permit public quotation. Optional follow-up email addresses are not included in published recommendations.
Service providers and other disclosures
ChatGPT Sites and Cloudflare provide website hosting and database infrastructure. Google Workspace supports the Poros business email account. If enabled, Resend processes inquiry notification emails. Providers receive information needed for those services. We may also disclose relevant records to professional advisers, to comply with a legal obligation or to protect rights and investigate abuse. Poros does not sell website inquiry information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Cookies, tracking and browser signals
Poros has not added advertising pixels, cross-site tracking, session-replay tools or optional analytics cookies. Hosting and sign-in services may use cookies or similar mechanisms for operation and security. Because Poros does not conduct cross-site advertising tracking, its current practices remain the same when Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals are present. Retention
We retain inquiries while needed to respond, evaluate or manage the business relationship, resolve a dispute or meet a legal obligation. Relevance, the age and status of the inquiry, contractual obligations and applicable recordkeeping rules determine how long a record is needed. Inquiry deletion is a manual review process, not an automatic deadline. Temporary form-abuse records older than 24 hours are removed when the next public form request is processed. Email copies, provider logs and backups have separate retention lifecycles.
Your choices and requests
Email contact@porosadvisors.com to request access, correction or deletion, to withdraw permission for a recommendation, or to raise a privacy concern. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, appeal a decision or complain to a supervisory authority. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity or an authorized representative. We will explain any lawful reason for retaining a record or declining a request and respond within the period required by applicable law. Withdrawing permission does not undo earlier lawful processing.
Location and applicable privacy rights
Poros operates in the United States. Our service providers may process information in the United States and other locations. Where a lawful basis is required, service inquiries support steps you request before an agreement; website security and ordinary business correspondence support legitimate interests; optional marketing or public recommendation use depends on the permission requested for that purpose. International engagements involving client personal data require appropriate processing and transfer arrangements before that data is shared. Contact us for information about the arrangements relevant to your inquiry or engagement.
Adults and sensitive information
This website and its services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children under 18. If a child has provided information, contact us so we can review and remove it as appropriate. The public inquiry form is not a channel for confidential or sensitive files.
Changes to this notice
The date at the top identifies the latest update. Changes will be posted here. If a material change requires additional notice or permission under applicable law, we will provide it before applying that change.
